For your peace of mind these places and items ought to get throughly cleaned or replaced more often than once a year: garbage and compost bins, toilet brushes and holders, closet shelves, ventilation grates, electric fan blades, medicine cabinets, cutlery and utensil trays, oven interiors, cutting boards, sponge scrubbers, refrigerator shelves and trays to name a few of the major ones.
