DENVER (KDVR) — Denver’s weather will feature more showers and thunderstorms through Monday but the severe threat will be limited this weekend thanks to cooler temperatures.Weather today: Showers and cooler temperaturesSaturday rain will build in and cap temperatures in the 60s. AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) -- A 21-year-old motorcyclist who was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday died, Aurora police said.The crash happened around 10 a.m. near the intersection of Chambers Road and East Moncrieff Place. A white Toyota van was attempting to turn north onto Chambers when it was struck by a green Kawasaki motorcycle driving south on Chambers. Neighbors seek answers after police kill 14-year-old armed robbery suspect A preliminary investigation showed the motorcycle rider was speeding at the time of the crash and was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to a local hospital and died of his injuries Saturday.The investigation into the crash is still underway. Gunfire tore through a Lauderhill neighborhood, sending a 15-year-old boy to the hospital. At around 5 a.m. on Saturday, Lauderhill Police received two ShotSpotter alerts in the area of Northwest 59th Avenue and 21st Street. Shortly after, they received several 911 calls. Upon arrival, officers found the young victim suffering from multiple shotgun wounds.Lauderhill Fire Rescue transported the teen to Broward Health Medical Center for treatment. (CNN) — Four children were found unresponsive on a beach in Quebec Saturday morning and later pronounced dead after a group of people on a fishing trip got caught in the tide, police said.A spokesperson for the Quebec provincial police told CNN that emergency responders were called at 2 a.m. on Saturday to Portneuf-sur-Mer, a riverside municipality on the northern shore.Eleven people went missing after leaving by foot for a fishing trip and being caught by the tide, the spokesperson said. Six of those 11 people were rescued, and five remained missing overnight, he said.Around 6 a.m., four children, all over the age of 10, were found unresponsive and sent to the hospital, according to the spokesperson. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police announced that the woman who had been missing out of Troy has been found safe. Her disappearance had prompted an abducted adult alert early in the day on June 3. BRENTWOOD, Mo. - A highly-anticipated park in the St. Louis metro is now open to the public. Brentwood mayor David Dimmit and other officials celebrated the grand opening of Brentwood Park on Friday. A multi-million dollar destination playground on the park grounds is expected to open this fall. The new facility is home to the Deer Creek Greenway Connector, a path that connects Rogers Parkway with the Deer Creek Greenway. The park also has an event pavilion, walking trails and an amphitheater. St. Louis sheriff offers crime solution. Who’s listening? Later this year, the city hopes to open a big-ticket destination playground at the park.
