AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person was seriously injured after a vehicle-pedestrian crash in east Austin Thursday, Austin-Travis County EMS said on Twitter.Shortly before 7 p.m., medics responded to the crash at 1100 Tillery St., the tweet said.In the same Twitter thread, medics said the incident involved someone on a bicycle. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Energy power outage map is now working properly after experiencing technical issues Wednesday night, an Austin Energy spokesperson told KXAN Thursday.Previously, Austin Energy said it was experiencing a technical issue with its outage map and reporting system, the agency said in a tweet Wednesday.On Thursday, Austin Energy said its IT engineers and multiple vendors were working around the clock since Tuesday to fix the intermittent performance issues.Furthermore, the agency said unlike the bandwidth issue that caused the outage map to malfunction at the outset of the winter storm in February, this issue occurred well before the severe weather Wednesday night and was due to an active intermittent outage with an integration tool that connects the outage map to Austin Energy data.Furthermore, the agency said it was working with vendors to resolve the outage map and reporting system issues.APD searching for suspect vehicle in south Austin hit-and-run

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department is searching for a suspect vehicle wanted in connection with a hit-and-run that occurred in south Austin June 14, APD said in a news release Thursday.At approximately 11:15 p.m., APD officers responded to the crash in the 2100 block of East Riverside Drive near Raising Canes, police said. On-scene officers found a man lying on the road next to the median, and he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to police. The victim has since been released, police said.In surveillance footage released by APD, the driver of a black Sedan hit the victim, which threw him into the median before the driver drove away eastbound on East Riverside Drive, police said.APD said details regarding the suspect vehicle were limited and are seeking the public's help to help identify it. When North St. Paul police found a 24-year-old man fatally shot in an apartment this week, they discovered a 3D printer and it appeared he’d been making parts for “ghost guns” — firearms that are privately made and untraceable because they don’t have serial numbers.Murder charges were filed Thursday.At the murder scene, two gun safes were open and empty. Golden State opted to take Santa Clara's Brandin Podziemski at No. 19 in the first round. In his lone season at Santa Clara, Podziemski averaged 19.9 points per game. He transferred to Santa Clara after one season at Illinois. Podziemski, 20, shot the ball well from deep at Santa Clara, making a whopping 43.8 percent of his 3-pointers. He also contributed in many other facets of the game, posting 8.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
