New Vietnamese Concept Đi Đi Springs From TikTok To WeHo in June

Born out of a TikTok sensation that took off during a pandemic, ĐI ĐI is a new and innovative Vietnamese restaurant that chef and social media personality Tue Nguyen will open in West Hollywood in June, when the 20-something will transition from cooking online to cooking for customers. Nguyen rose to TikTok fame in 2020 when she began cooking traditional Vietnamese dishes to educate her audience on the food, culture and people of her childhood. She has teamed up with The h.wood Group as co-owner and chef partner for the restaurant whose name translates to “Let’s Gooooo!”Located in the former Petite Taqueria space on La Cienega Blvd. which closed last year, it will be a homecoming for Nguyen. A 6-year-old reticulated giraffe at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore has died.The giraffe, named Willow, had started to show a large decline in her appetite Friday.
