Former AT&T Chairman Randall Stephenson resigned from the PGA Tour’s policy board over concerns about the tour’s proposed partnership with Saudi Arabia’s national wealth fund, The Washington Post reported Sunday.The PGA Tour confirmed the resignation in a memo to its members, referring to Stephenson’s “exemplary service” for more than 12 years.Stephenson retired as chairman and CEO of AT&T in June 2020. (KTLA) – A California woman woke up Sunday to find a dead bear in her front yard. Monrovia resident Amy Spada said that she disregarded a loud noise she heard outside her home around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night. “I thought maybe it was a firework, or a car accident...I didn’t think much of it,” Spada said. “A little while later, there was some police action in the condo complex, so I went out to see what was going on, and two rows over, police were saying that a bear got hit by a car on Foothill Boulevard, and it’s injured and it’s hiding behind one of the bushes close to my house.” Spada said that police told her that the bear was injured and aggravated, and that they were handling the situation. MANOR, Texas (KXAN) — Austin-Travis County EMS and Travis County ESD No. 12 responded to a crash involving three patients off East U.S. Hwy. 290 and North FM 973 in Manor Sunday evening.ATCEMS tweeted the call came in just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday, with patients pinned into their vehicle following a crash. One adult and two children were transported following the crash, with all three marked trauma alerts.Crews transported the adult patient to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious injuries, while a second ambulance transported the two pediatric patients to Dell Children's Medical Center. A massive landslide forced the evacuation of a dozen homes in a Los Angeles County neighborhood late Saturday night, and police, fire and utility company officials were on scene as early as 6 a.m. Sunday morning with the area completely closed off.At least 12 homes were evacuated in Rolling Hills Estates along Peartree Lane next to the canyon area, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said. Thousands of thrill seekers took part in the first running of the bulls at the San Fermín festival in the northern Spanish city of Pamplona.Several runners took knocks and hard falls in the 8 a.m. event but no one was gored by the beasts, a frequent feature of the spectacle.The festival attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists.
